Double Diamond Fun Fold

I'm looking at treasures from the past, remembering my mom on her birthday on St. Patrick's Day, and my dad's passing on 3/31, now 15 years ago. I also found some card patterns from 2019.  And here's one that is perfect to use these new papers and butterly.   Use a 4x10" piece of cardstock.  Score down the center at 2 on the 4" side; then 2" in from the left and right edges.   The next score needs to be accurate, but not hard.
First make tick marks with your Paper Trimmer or a ruler and pencil:  4" in from the left on the 10" side, and from the right, make tick marks on the top edge and the bottom edge. Then right on the center scoring line, mark off a 3" tick mark from the left and again in from the right.
Now here is where you must be accurate.  Score from the 4" tick mark, on an angle towards the left up to that center line tick mark; then on the bottom half, from that 3" tick mark to the bottom 4" tick mark on an angle.  Repeat on the right side: from the 4" tick out to the 3" tick at center; then from there down to the 4" tick on the right.  Now that was really wordy.
Now fold on all the score lines to make it flexible, and fold the 2 outer 2" edges down and push the whole piece to the center. You should see how the center scoring creates a diamond center.
To see this done on video, and to look at pictures of my pattern, go to card.connoisseur on Instagram - watch a 60 sec reel; and go to Card Connoisseur Susan Boback on Face Book and watch a longer video explaining. Of course you can find this design other places too.
Now pick a die cut or Designer Paper image to be your focal point in the center.  Cut a 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" square, fold in half at the angle and attach just the bottom to that center diamond.  Look at my completed sample. This is where I put the butterly.  Cut 4 - 1 3/4" layers for the side squares.   Choose to sign below your center pieces or on the back of one of the squares.   This was not hard and would make a fun card for someone special.
